Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward

Okay if you love J.R. Ward and her Black Dagger Brotherhood series raise your hands and wave them like you mean it!!! Whoooooo! I just want to lick these men up with a spoon! Miz Ward if you ever read this I'd love a brother of my own, just throw in a little of all of them combined and I'll be a very happy woman. Now that I've gushed let me move on to the reason for this blog. *sigh* I have to say that as much as I love Miz Ward and the Brothers I am sooooo disappointed in the last book released. Lover Unleashed. Where do I begin...well let's start with Payne, I thought this was going to be a kick ass character and that I would love her as much as I love her brother V, but alas it was not to be. Payne was exactly that...a PAIN! And let's not even get me started on that candy ass Manny!! OMG! Grow a set would you?! This book was all over the place and not in an easy to follow, "man this really makes sense", kind of way. Where in the hell are all these Lessers comin' from? What's with all the Old English? What is going to happen with the Bastards now that they are no longer pursuing Payne? This book just left me with a lot of questions and disappointment. I'd give it 2 1/2 stars, which is really sad because all the others get 5 stars from me. I really, really, really hope that the next book in the series entitled Lover Reborn is better. The book won't be released until March 27, 2011 so mark your calenders ladies and gentlemen! This book will hopefully follow the rest of the Brotherhood into being some of the greatest books EVER. Until next time remember My Opinion Might Not Be Yours!!

  4. There are 9 soon to be 10 books in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. She has a new series called The Fallen Angels, the third book soon to be released. And she writes under the name Jessica Bird.

  6. I think Vishous is EVERYONE'S favorite brother! He certainly is one of mine. But then all the brothers hold a special place in my heart. Can't wait for the next book!!

  7. I love the Brothers and all of the books but I do admit that LU was one of the stronger novels in the series. I am hoping that Tohr's book will return to us the series that we all come to fall in love with ♥

    Great Blog!
